This website is designed as a personal repository/portfolio of the various projects I have undertaken. It is equally for myself as it is for showing others the things I have done. The website is a project in an of itself; it was built from scratch using HTML and CSS over the course of a few months. As with anything, it is an amalgamation of various guides and documentation that has been fashioned into something I would like to call my own. No LLMs or equivalent have been used in the making of this website or any of the featured projects.
I'm Ethan Anderson (left) and I like to tinker around with the odd thing every now and again. I hold a degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from NYU where I co-led the Propulsion and Electronics teams for the school's hybrid rocketry club. Most of my projects are mechanically inspired, many involve some level of electronic influence, and all of them are lucky if they every get fully finished. In my free time I am an avid runner, hiker, and cyclist. I have had the privilege of hiking in the White Mountains, New Mexico, Swiss Alps, and Japanese Alps, also bikepacking through Holland, Portugal, and the length of Long Island. The name WanderingOatmeal comes from a gamertag arbitrarily chosen sometime around 2019.
